Requirements Specification document.

for the following items will be included in the analysis:

– All of the steps involved in the quotation
process will be documented, from initial application through
final approval. This
will include the stages of the process and the people who
are involved in each stage.
· Data
– Each of the documents currently in use will be analyzed
and documented. A
glossary of terms and concepts will be developed.
· Business
Rules – Through analysis of the process
and the documents, and interviews with the personnel
involved, the business rules surrounding the process will be
documented.
· Technical
Requirements -- Technical requirements will
be investigated and documented. This will include issues
such as determining usage and load patterns for the proposed
system, where the system might be hosted, security
requirements, and any issues that might inform choices of
technologies such as hardware platform and operating system
for the host servers.
