Asher & Company, Ltd. and Enterprise Appraisal Company today announced that they had jointly formed EAC Valuations, LLC. Asher & Company is one of Philadelphia's premier and largest independent regional certified public accounting firms. Asher & Company focuses on serving clients in its five primary segments: affordable housing and other real estate; public housing authorities; public companies and private equity firms; not-for-profit and tax-exempt organizations; and closely-held and family-owned businesses.

Effective July 16, 2011, EAC Valuations became the valuation and appraisal division of Asher & Company, and will be led by Frank L. Merenda, AVA, CMEA, who became a Director of Asher & Company coincident with the formation of EAC Valuations. EAC Valuations, which will continue the valuation and appraisal practice formerly conducted under Enterprise Appraisal Company, is unique in the industry in that it provides both business valuation services and appraisal services of both real and personal property, including intangible assets.

Enterprise Appraisal Company has provided more than 10,000 appraisals for clients ranging from multi-national, multi-billion dollar Fortune 100 companies and financial institutions, to privately- held local manufacturing and services companies.
