July 1, 2009 - The Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act, adopted in 2008, requires all contractors who perform more than $5,000 in improvements on private residences to obtain registration and complete additional actions.  The law takes affect July 1, 2009.  Registration can be done online or by mail.  For additional information, please click here.
