July 1, 2009 - Effective July 1, 2009, the City of Philadelphia has made the changes below to the withholding tax rate.  The change in rate is so small that you must have taxable wages of at least $2,000 to see a one penny deduction in the amount to be withheld.

Resident:  $2,000 x 3.93% = $78.60     @3.9296% = $78.59

Non-resident: $2,000 x 3.5% = $70.00     @3.4997% = $69.99
