October 19, 2007-- Joseph W. Beach, CPA, Managing Director of Asher & Company, Ltd., has announced that James M. Kochanski, CPA has been promoted to Director in Asher’s Accounting and Auditing Department. Jim’s industry expertise includes: cable television and media; television network; software development companies; manufacturing and venture capital.

Jim mentors the firm’s professionals and conducts seminars corresponding to the organization’s Continuing Professional Education Program. He is also one of the firm’s leaders in our SEC Services Group.

Jim earned a B.S. in accounting from the College of New Jersey and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi National and Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Societies. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
