April 14, 2006 -- Joseph W. Beach, CPA, Managing Director of Asher & Company, Ltd. is proud to announce that Patrick J. Dugan, CPA, a Senior Manager in the Accounting and Auditing Department of Asher & Company, Ltd. has been appointed to the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy, effective April 3, 2006.  Mr. Dugan was nominated by Governor Edward G. Rendell and confirmed by the State Senate.

The State Board of Accountancy is responsible for monitoring and proposing changes to the CPA licensing and statutory requirements as well as handling necessary disciplinary action over certified public accountants.
