The Asher Women's Group coordinated a Holiday Drive in order to raise money to purchase food, clothing, and gifts for 15 locally sponsored families in need.  On December 15th, the Women's Group organized 15 boxes of food and gift wrapped the clothing and gifts. All of the items were delivered to Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR) located at 1233 Locust Street in Philadelphia. WOAR will forward the items to the sponsored families.    

		A total of 15 boxes were filled to the top with a variety of food items such as canned vegetables and soup, pasta, stuffing, peanut butter and snacks.
