Take me out
to the ball game, take me out to the…Asher kitchen!
Yes, on
April 5, 2004
, Asher & Company showed their love, loyalty, and
patriotism for that most American of
sports—baseball—with a stadium lunch. Staff attendees
enjoyed hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn, Cracker Jacks, soft
pretzels, sodas, and other snacks. The only ambience-
enhancing favorites that Human Resources Director, Elaine
Allen, couldn’t bring in (because they would be a bit
unwieldy) were cheering crowds and an organ, playing
seventh-inning stretch favorites.
Frankly, the seats were too comfortable—they should
have been rock-hard stadium seats.
But we’ll wait to experience these at the first
games of the season.
Many Asher
staff got into the spirit by wearing their favorite team
jerseys or team colors. Many of those who participated were
showing off their Phillies Pride as you can see from the
day’s pictures (below).
A grand time was had by all—a homer hit right out
of the park, we’d say.

The rest of the buffet tastes just as yummy, and is
priming us for the baseball season ahead. |

Another Phillie fan! You'd think we live and work in
Philadelphia or something. |
