As a member of the firm’s Global Business Services Group, Cathy provides a full range of consulting and accounting services for inbound and outbound business and investment opportunities.  She has assisted clients in start-up situations to operate efficiently to meet their international goals.  

Cathy has co-authored “Taking the Big Leap: Starting Your Own Business” and wrote “Independent Contractor or Employee?” which were published in MEDSURG Nursing, a nursing periodical.  Cathy published an article for the Small Business News on key accounting issues.  Cathy has also spoken to bankers and associations on various accounting/auditing and consulting issues.

She previously served as the Director of the firm’s Not-for-Profit Services Group.  Cathy semiannually conducted two day seminars on the fiscal operations of social service agencies; provided consulting services in such areas as accounting system evaluation, application of fiscal regulations, strategies to fully utilize available funding and worker classification; and published the firm’s newsletter geared towards the not-for-profit industry.
