2nd Annual Asher Open - March 1998

Well, we knew we had fun last year, but we still didn't think of taking pictures or notes. This year's controversy arose when Jack Kolmansberger won. Since he had helped to set the course up, critics cited an unfair advantage.

Perhaps the highlight of the day was when Don Polec from WPVI Channgel 6 showed up to do a story. Having a tv personality and cameraman in the office jumped up the excitement level. The story that Don presented still stands up to this day as a testimony to the fun and goodwill the Asher Open generates.
